I'm just telling everyone what AMD said at their press conference at Computex in regard of Zambezi (Bulldozer).
The conference was held on June 1st and they said that:
-Bulldozer motherboards will come out next month
-Bulldozer CPUs will come out the month after
So there is yet ANOTHER delay. Things have been moved from Q2 to Q3.
I can't wait!
Do you want a rock solid performer, or a flaky chip? At least we are beyond Intel and their "yeah, we know it has an FP error, and we are working on a fix, but we are still making the broken product." Can't tell you how many Pentium replacements I did with Intel paying me $25 per.
AMD=Amature Made Device
Geez, what a fanboy response.
Dollar to dollar, AMD makes more powerful processors.
Regularly, AMD releases processors that are faster than anything on the Intel side (which Intel beats a couple months later).
And remember when Intel scrapped their i64 plans for the Core 2 processors, and adopted (after writing a hefty check to AMD) the AM64 standard?
No, you probably don't.
