Hello everyone
I am thinking of buying the Antec Lanboy air case. But i really want the perfect aircooler to go with it. Most aircoolers have been designed to blow the air out of the back of the case but with the antec lanboy that gets a bit tricky. From my understanding it is recommended that every fan is an intake. So how would you guys solve this problem and what cooler would you be using? Would really appreciate your help.
Best Regards Kristoffer
i seriously think any Cooler will work good with that case i suggest maybe one that has duel fans to suck and push but with that case not sure
ye i think you are right, but the cooler must be able to be orientated with the fans blowing the air towards the cdrom drive. What cooler would be best suited for this task? And remember the heatsink can not be over 160mm.
And i just realised i got another problem... I am using kingston hyperx 6gb ram memory, and the includen kingston hyperx fan. What heatsink would also not interfere with that?
The Zalman CNPS9900 LED CPU Cooler, can i mount it so that it blows air in to to case and gets blown at by the rear case fan? Please guys i really need your help ^^
Hi,
Interesting that your question is what I have been researching, as I have the exact same issue.
My conclusion is that to keep the airflow in the right direction and have enough memory heatsink clearance, it looks like the Corsair H70 is the solution given that it has about the best performance for a self-contained water cooling solution. You may want to change the fans that come with it though as most reviews say they are loud at high speeds. Try the Silverstone AP121's or the Noctua NF-P12's.
Hope this helps.

Ted.
Ya okey thanks ted really helpt :D. i would really had liked to buy the silverstone AP121's but iam not sure that they are avaible in my country, i live in sweden you see :P. I really want to maintain the blue feeling of the case won't the noctuas destroy that feeling? are there any other good blue led fans?
actully i got a h50 in my old case right now. Is it worth buying the h70 even tought i have a h50?
Hi,
If you have an H50, then you could just add two more powerfull fans and save some money.
The H70 does have a better cooling factor but not by much.
You are right, the Noctua fans are a beige colour and might detract from the blue theme but they are excellent fans!
I have read that the Scythe "Gentle" Typhoon work very well with the H50. Have a look at them here...

Or just buy some more Antec fans ;¬)

Ted.
Him yeah i really wished they would have sold the antec fans that they use in the case in my country... that would have been perfect. I think i will keep my h50 an later buy such twocool fans that they got in the case :P. Funny you mentioned the Scythe Gentle Typhoon fans, I actully have those fans on my h50 right now xD
Aha! iam so happy right now i found the Coolermaster fans that look kinda like the antec ones! haha! i think they are called the Coolermaster R4 Series 120mm. they say it's only 19 db. And im just curious where can you buy the antec fans in USA? Or do u think i can go to my local computer store where they have the lanboy air and ask for 2 extra fans?
In fact i dont even find the twocool fans on antec's website! so how do u buy them?
Hi,
I bought accessories for my Antec 1200 and I live in the UK. I used this web site http://store.antec.com/Home.aspx
Regards,
Ted.
I'm not sure what's got you all concerned regarding fan orientation in that case. The whole case is basically a "fence" more than it is a case, so air will flow in and out with ease.
In other words, fan orientation won't matter. Consider it an Antec Skeleton with metal screening around it.
