I am wondring about upgrade to Touch BIOS on my GA-990FXA-UD3 MB for the AM3+ platform. What is the pro and cons to upgrade the Touch BIOS and what experience do you guys have with it?
There are no performance differences between the "Touch BIOS" and the traditional BIOS. It's just an easier way of navigating through the UI by having the option of using a keyboard in conjunction with a mouse.
How is the user experience with the touch BIOS?
I'm assuming it's similar to the experience you would get from a UEFI supported BIOS. Prettier interface with the ability of using both the mouse and keyboard to change motherboard settings.
Why don't you just flash it and see...you can always flash it back (right ?)

Touch BIOS isn't a BIOS Revision, it's simply the name of Gigabyte's BIOS user interface.
well i thought he meant an update, on the motherboard page of his motherboard
" F3 1.Touch BIOS support
2.Update CPU AGESA 0.0.9.2 for AM3+
3.Update Dolby Home Theater version"
meaning it first did not have it i guess
