What do you guys think are the best 120mm, 140mm, 200mm, and 230mm case fans? I'm wondering what to get for my HAF 932, when the time comes. I'd rather have something quite than more a lot of air, but if I can get both, please post what fans can do that!
And anyone know if the front 230mm fan in the HAF 932 can be replaced with a 200mm fan?
Yeah, they seem to move a lot of air and 19 db isn't too loud.
noctua make pretty good fans, they are very expensive though
The bigger the fan (200-230mm) the less noise it makes to move the same amount of air.I have a haf 922(very similiar to 932) which is very quiet w. 2 200's and 1 120 fan. I would advise if you do add a fan to add it to the side panel to cool the graphics card which I think is the only spot you can add a 200+mm fan in a 932 w.o cutting the side pannels. I don't think the front fan on the 932 is replaceable w. a 200mm but not sure-check for another set of 4 holes on the inside of the holes which the current fan is in.
The only anoing problem with big fans if there is very little selection to buy them from and sometimes they rly suck (true w. all fans) so do a little reserch to find a good one.
p.s Oh and btw we have the opposite problem-I don't like the red lights in my 922 so I switching them with blue-LOL!
