Okay, i would very much appreciate some input on a system im getting pretty soon. and would like some advice or thoughts.
( i cant spend much more than what i am on these parts already, so know i cant get too exotic here. )
heres the main parts of the system so far...
[== Quad Core ==] AMD Phenom™ II X4 955 Black Edition Quad-Core CPU
Memory ( 4 GB [2 GB X2] DDR3-1600 Memory Module - Corsair or Major Brand )
Video Card ( NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 - 1GB -)
Motherboard ( [CrossFire] ASUS M4A87TD EVO -- AMD 870 w/ 2x PCI-E 2.0 x16 )
700watt PSU
Primary Hard Drive ( 500 GB HARD DRIVE -- 16M Cache, 7200 RPM, 3.0Gb/s - Single Drive )
your thoughts?
Thank you in advance.
1. x6 is not a gaming cpu-get a 955be
2. 465 is a joke-Get a gtx 460-it easily outperforms the 465 for a lot less $.
3. Might want a small SSD for OS+games

okay, made the changes, 1 quick question though, would the 955 be better than the 965? the 965 would only be about 10 bucks more. and ill look into a solid state drive, though its 70 bucks just for a 40GB SSD
965 is just a factory overclocked version.. Same thing as the 955

okay, 955 it is then, thank you
If you want a cheap SSD, I would consider this one:
OCZ Onyx Series Indilinx 32GB 2.5IN SATA2 Solid State Disk Flash Drive SSD
okay, thanks for all the help.
