2nd question relating to my "new" toshiba tecra s2-
The cheapest hard drive tray I could find for it is like $25 but are their either amorphous trays or anyway I can get a cheaper tray for my hdd that fits properly?
Other terms to search by include: Hard Drive Caddy, Assembly or Adapter.

If the Caddy is too big just figure something out with longer screws, washers and nuts from your local hardware store like Lowes.
Ya looks to me like the cheapeast I can find is still $25. Well I can try to adapt another caddy I have or just the old standard(DUCT TAPE MANIA!!). Problem with other cadies is that the screw holes are not in the same spot=I would have to drill new holes with a small bit (do not got many)+ the little "cover" at the outside end would not match labtop.
I think I am leaning towards Duct tape mania at the moment but we will see.
nice to see you active again on the forums Tivon
Yeah, I would save my money and use the old Caddy and just drill some new holes. :)
