hd playback problems?

well im looking for a new card for my dad he has a 512mb 9400gt and it struggles you tube hd videos its like watching robomotion his cpu is fine its a 3ghz dual core and he has 2gb of ddr2 mem eny ideas for a card to play hd on he dose some video converting im looking around the 80 to 100 doller range???.

if my brother's 7600GS can play blu ray movies then your 9400 should be able to do youtube. have you tried updating flash player and java? that kind of stuff?

Yep its probably a driver issue or software related. Either that or the video card is dieing. If it is dieing RMA it or buy an nvidia gt 240 for $60.

yes i have tried drivers un/in flash player updates Java updates and different browsers and not difference i wish i could rma it but my warranty is void  when i removed the cooler for cleaning last year but its bin fine till about 1 month ago iv had the card for 1%half years now...its an xfx branded card.
