i want to change from nVidia to ati but switching it the screen wont show up. any help? or program i could use or do i have to stay with nVidia?
Did you uninstall the drivers? Did you install the new drivers?
i unstalled the drive and let me try install the ATI drive. Should i install the drive from the C.D. or shouldI download it from the website.
From the website would be the newest drivers, so those.
Make sure the first thing ever is to remove the Nvidia drivers by booting into safemode. Then use Driver Sweeper to clean off the driver and boot into normal mode and install the ATI AMD graphics card driver.
You definitely have a driver conflict issue here.
I suggest also using this cool program goes deep and down dirty to the registry to get anything that is left behind.
