Just got my new Motorola Xoom! Just in time for my trip to Seattle! Will post some picks tonight when I am lounging in my hotel... *posted from my xoom*
Very nice, I'm waiting for the Kal-El processor tablet.
Trip to Seattle, gps navigation, 1.5 times through and animated Cat in the Hat book, random youtube videos and random web access.... still at 80% battery! More to come...
Can it take pictures?
Supposedly has a 10 hr. battery life according to Motorola...I wish all smartphones has this kind of battery life. :/
Yes it takes pictures :-) I think I had some smudges on the lens though lol....
Added a trip with the wife and kids to the Seattle Aquarim, multiple demonstrations of the Xoom to trapped soccer dads, a dinner with watching multiple videos taken with the Xoom... and browsing/email... 68% battery left.
The Xoom has "3250 mAh, 24.1 watt-hour lithium ion polymer battery boasts a healthy 10 hours of Wi-Fi browsing and video playback, and a massive 3.3 days of MP3 playback." Ifixit has a nice little tear down...

Nice, tablets are sweet, especially this one :)
I picked up an Asus EP121 Tablet myself: http://www.3dgameman.com/forum/reviews/asus-eee-slate-ep121-tablet
When the sun shine comes out, I'll try to do some test pics at the park or something. So far I am loving my Xoom tablet. I had high expectations and for the most part, they have been met!
There are a few small things like not being able to run Flash yet (I usually want it disabled but I was going for JustinTV viewer that requires flash) even though it's being marketed as supporting it.
There are some minor little quirks and bugs in the included apps. For instance, the Gmail desktop widget doesn't update unless you get new mail. Or sometimes the browser will white screen (still able to get to home again etc) if you're bouncing between Wi-fi and 3G. I also have a feeling these camera's have a sorta bug like the original Droid did where out of the gate the focus wasn't all that great.
Nothing so far that makes me regret my purchase! :) As with any 1st gen product, there's issues, but again, 100% happy with my purchase!
Update, took my original Xoom back for a replacement. First one had a manufacturing defect where the magnesium case meets the plastic and created a 'lip' that caught on things and collected dirt etc. New one has no problems.
Side note, if you are syncing tons of apps and such... make sure you're on Wifi... I got a notice saying I was over half of my 1gb/month usage!
Update: Was able to install leaked builds of Netflix and Google Voice on my Xoom! The migration light at the end of the tunnel just started looking closer!
Would people be interested in an informal video review of my Xoom? I still have the plastic on it, lol...
Are you going to show unboxing video? lol
