Nevermind about the boot I'm working on it :)
I'm real sorry for dragging this post & taking your time but as you know I have changed from the Manli mobo to the Foxconn Flamming Blade GTI."All the delays are from the seller, RMAs & stuff like that"
Do you still advise me to use the Intel Rapid Storage while installing the win 7 64 bit??
PLS note that I have changed from ICH10R to ICH10. Surely you know that there is no more RAID but still the AHCI.
Correct me if I am wrong:
I think it's better to use Intel RST cause of the AHCI drivers, right?
It's a SSD and you want TRIM, so use enable AHCI and install windows as normal.
Without the RST????!!!!
"I'm a bit confused"
After you told me about the RST I realized on my laptop I have an SSD with AHCI & it automatically downloaded the Intel RST
That was to correct the other motherboard. But this is a new board, so just see if it works normally first. Then if it has the same problem then try all of the other steps.
Should have made that post much earlier but better late than never,
Guys I just wanted to post a Thank you note for your efforts. I've managed to solve the problemS "Yes problemS :)" & mostly thanks to the guy who suggested to use the Intel RST.
*Updated the BIOS on the Foxconn FlamingBlade MB & "Set up IDE to AHCI in CMOS"
*Installed windows 7
*The drives were once again detected as removable storage. Installed Intel RST, rebooted & the drives were detected as internal. "I think the RST served as an updated drivers for the AHCI"
*Installed latest Chipset drivers, VGA drivers & now I have 7.5 on the WEI
THX guys

Strange that they showed as removable storage again, maybe the Manli board wasn't the problem.. but you had more problems with it, so I guess you did the right thing and returned it. Everything is running fine now?
RST could be some sort of update for when you have SSDs installed, anyway good to know this resolved it! I had never heard of this issue before you brought it up and it also seems to be kinda rare. So I guess we have to thank you :).
