I had a 6TB RAID 5 and was working on setting up a separate array. I proceeded to format that array and somehow it moved on to format the existing RAID 5. I shut down my computer once I realized this was happening(before formatting was completed). The array says unformatted now.

Is there ANY way I can recover this RAID? Please help

I doubt it. Unless there is a program that can recover data from partially formatted disks I would say you've lost everything on the array.

all ur data is gone. It can't be recovered at least not by ur every day user.

if u format a drive the data is has 1 layer of code added to the end. so as long as it has not been written over by anything else it can be recovered but its not worth it.

only people that go through the trouble is military.

So my suggestion is just reformat ur raid array. Might want to keep a external backup drive to store data that is important.
