Motherboard: ECS A790GXM-A Black Series
Ram: OCZ 2gb Ram DDR2 (Yes DDR2, NOT 3)
Processor: AMD Phenom quadcore (Not sure which type exactly)
I think there's a 500w power supply. (Maybe 600)
Need to upgrade it to windows 7.
And I'm looking for a graphics card. I'm looking at the GeForce GTX 550 Ti ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130625 )
Is there another card I should pick up instead?
Looking to play WoW, and Tera (probably medium settings, would like to play on high smoothly)
A stronger card than a HD 6770 or GF GTX 550 Ti would probably be highly bottlenecked if your CPU is a Phenom first generation one.
Get that GTX 550Ti, it is ok. And get yourself 2 more GB of memory.
How can I be positive that the 550 TI will fit?
GTX 550 Ti is a PCI-E x16 card, your MBO has a PCI-E x16 port. It will fit.

You didn't specify your case. If it supports 8.25" cards or longer, then it will fit.
