I am helping someone build a computer and I am stuck with the two graphics cards in the title. From what I have heard, the Sapphire Radeon HD 7850 beats it in most cases but not by a lot. From where I come from, the EVGA GeForce GTX 560 Ti DS is a little lower in price. Thus, I am stuck with the question: Sapphire Radeon HD 7850 or EVGA GeForce GTX 560 Ti DS?
It is relatively similar to the 560 Ti but has the benefits of having quite a bit lower temps and power consumption. Check out this review: http://www.hardwareheaven.com/reviews/1437/pg15/sapphire-radeon-hd-7850-overclock-edition-graphics-card-review-conclusion.html
i second, the 7850 is a powerfull card and it's a direct concurent of the 560ti... The HD7850 is 5-10% faster and consume about 40w less than the 560ti and have 2gb of memory vs 1gb for the 560ti (more futureproof) and it's not the overclock version vs the 560ti superclock and it's still outperform the geforce. So for 15-20$ i'd go with the radeon...
