What is the best gtx 580 ?

hi, im going to upgrade my system soon and was wondering what is the best gtx 580 or anything similar like a CUII 570. im going to get a 850w 80 plus corsair psu so power isn't really an issue too much. i was looking for something within the £200 - £300 ($315 - $470) region.

For 400$ USD, go with a GTX670, it'll be faster than the GTX580 and the newer generation (you can run surround oin 1 card per example) Boost as high as the 680 but one shader unit disabled so only 10% slower that the 680...

At these price you have some overclocked version like the DCII or the Winforce 3 and EVGA FTW edition...

My GTX690 is totally brutalizing my DellTM UltraSharpTM U3011 30" Resolution:2560x1600 (100-200 fps) :O)
A GTX670/680 would do for most users..

ASUS DCII for sure but you need to check specials cause they are pricy...

you could get a 660ti for $300

Get the 670. I am running a pair of 680's with my triple screen setup. Works great. This has been the smoothest hardware launch I have seen from nVidia, or any company for that matter, in a long time. Drivers are rock solid and the cards perform very well. A 660ti is not a bad option but it's a 670 with the memory bus choked down to 192-bit. If you can swing the 670, get it.
