Canadian
HEC 63RABB Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case: $49.99
JetWay HUMMER JHA-09-LF AM3 SATA III ATX Motherboard: $89.99
AMD Athlon X2 265 AM3 CPU: $74.99
Western Digital Caviar Black WD1002FAEX 1TB 7200 Hard Drive: $99.99
Mushkin Enhanced Silverline 4GB 240-Pin DDR3 Memory: $49.99 (I recommend 2 for $99.98 if you're going to do a lot of heavy graphics)
SeaSonic 350w PSU: $43.99
DVD Burner: $25.99
This will leave you less room for shipping charges and it may go above $500 but less than $510, perhaps. I'm pretty sure 4GB of RAM will be okay for you unless you need more.
I just built my workplace two computers from Newegg components for $450 about two weeks ago...
- Silverstone mATX case
- AM3 MSI motherboard with 890GX chipset
- Phenom II quad-core
- 4gig DDR3
- 320gb SATA drive
- DVD-R/W
- Multi-card reader
