ATI HD5870 bottleneck

Hi, im planning on getting a 5870 and wanted to know if the intel Q9300 2.5 ghz c2q will bottleneck the gpu, if yes how will the frames be affected and how high will i need to overclock it to get rid of the bottleneck.

Not at all. It's a quad-core which is more than enough for a modern video card.

alright, i asked cause at this other forum people were saying u should overclock it to about 3.0ghz or higher  to get the best performance.

thata relief, i didnt want to get into overclocking. thanks guys
