BTX ,ATX

i heard that in the past Intel made some BTX bourd. but did it cool better than there standard atx bourds.
why did it die off. and why don't they make a ctx or so that will have a better layout than the atx. like having the gpu cards upside or at least higer than the cpu, because hot air rises and the gpu is hotter than the cpu.

The main reason BTX died off was because motherboard manufacturers found it too costly to redesign their boards to meet the spec when ATX was already king.

but dit the mobo cool better than the ATX because if it was better why don't they do it for the enthusiast boards now
