Hi Rodney, I love watching your video reviews, especially for cases lately since I am in the market for one.
But there is one feature that I noticed you don't mention in any of your videos, and it's a feature that I really like about cases. And that is when you remove the front panel, the I/O ports, LEDs, and buttons stay on the case so that the front panel isn't just hanging there by the cables.
So for example an Antec 200 (review #1162) does have this feature and an NZXT Whisper Silent (review #1011) does not.
Most all Cases do come with this feature, but some so not, I personally hate to have the front panel hanging by the wires like that and it is definitely a PITA. so in my opinion this is a very nice feature and it is definitely a deal breaker if the front panel is tethered to the case by its own I\O cables.
Just a suggestion to mention this in your reviews. Keep up the good work and keep those video's coming

I agree, this is an excellent feature. When removing the front bezel there's nothing worse than having the cables attached. I guess I should try and remember to point that out, but it's become so common place, I overlook it. Excellent suggestion and one I'll try and incorporate in future video reviews.

Just like someone from above I'm curious about what phone/apps you use. I personally use a Galaxy S1 with stock rom so I'm curious of what do you use and some apps maybe. I don't know. Just something fun for you to do and for us to watch :)

you are right, most all cases are like this these days, but there are still some budget cases that are not. I bought a Sentey Black Box Series case (I don't believe you have ever reviewed anything from this company) and it is unfortunately tethered by its own I/O cables, which I did not know when I bought the case.
but other than that, it is a huge value for the money you spend. only $50 (US) and it is completely tool-less, Painted on the inside, fan filters are included and removable, up to 7 120mm fans can be installed(4 included), PSU mounts on the bottom, cable management holes, and it doesn't look bad.
I think it would be great if you could get Sentey to send you a few cases to review, even with the front cable problem they are an amazing value for such a low price

I've always been kinda curious about this. How long do you think it will be before movies pass the standard 1920x1080, and move to higher resolutions like 2048x1152, or 2560×1440?

I take it you are referring to the Video Editing program that I'm using to produce my video reviews. If so, I'm currently using Sony Vegas 11. I find it easy to use and renders fast depending on your computer hardware. I also use Camtasia Studio and even Windows Live Movie Maker in a pinch.
The video card I have now is three years old and I'm interested in a new mid-range card to replace it. The problem is that the architecture of AMD's and Nvidia's mid-range cards are going to be replaced very soon. No one wants to buy a $300 video card and it's outdated in two months but I'm tired of waiting. Do you have any info/specs on AMD's upcoming 7800 series mid-range cards or any idea when Nvidia is going to release Kepler?

Excellent question.
It will take quite a while for movies/TV to go beyond 1080p. That's because the format is so common place and also due to bandwidth limitations all across the board. Look at regular HD TV for example, it's still 720p in move places. And to be honest, most can't even tell the difference between 720p and 1080p, let alone 1080p+. And look at the movies you download, many are still at 720p or you can set the option for 720p. So 1080p will be around for a while yet, which is certainly more than enough for movies/TV.
Now, when it comes to desktop real-estate, the higher the resolution the better. I'd much prefer to work on a screen with a 2560x1600 resolution than one that's only 1920x1080 (1080p).

You know what, now is an excellent time to consider last gen, if you are on a budget. Since AMD are releasing new video cards, the last gen should be a little cheaper. Although, pricing is anyone guess.
Here's what I'd advice. If you can wait, wait, if not buy a video card now, one that you'll be happy with for a while and then later sell it. By then the cost of the "new" video card will be more affordable.
To be honest, most new video cards, AMD 6000 series or NVIDIA 500 series video cards are more than capable of playing todays games and upcoming games at 1080p with most of the eye candy on. So buying more than you need is a waste.

I won't recommend quiet fans for anyone who's overclocking or tweaking their system. That's because many silent fans push less air thus would decrease performance and increase temps. What I'd suggestion is a fan controller. So buy regular fans or use the ones you have and use the fan controller or adjust their speed based on what you are doing. So if you're gaming, crank the the fan speed, if you are browsing the web or watching a movie lower them. I personally dropped Rogers (robbers) internet because of the bandwidth limitations and went with Teksavvy. I've been with them ever since last year and so far so good. I'd say, go for it. Note though prices have gone up a bit. Here's a quote I received from them about pricing to my current plan, "you have Extreme cable internet at $42.95/month this plan is going to experience a raise of $4/month and be at $46.95/mo.".

I wish that all my giveaways could be international, but it's up to the sponsor not me. Fact is, most of my sponsors are in North America, which makes sense since I'm from here as well and they sell their products locally (within North America). I'm guessing, but the reason is probably due to the cost of shipping and the high damaged/loss rate. This is unfortunate since I have many fans overseas :(
