Hey Rodney...

New guy to the forums. - Have been watching a lot of stuff on your website for a long time, though!

My question is quite straight forward: Is the high-pitched "whining" from a PSU a bad/potentially dangerous sign for the computer?

I've got a Corsair 750W PSU in my computer, which is giving off a high pitched sound. You have to listen carefully to catch it, but it's there, and quite apparent once you have "caught" it...

Should I consider getting another PSU?

In most cases it's just an acoustic thing and does not mean your PSU will die, however if you are concerned then you should replace it.
