Differnce between FCLGA and LGA

I was just comparing the prices of intel's new 3rd gen processors...and i came to know that same 3770k or 3570k or any other 3rd gen processor with FCLGA 1155 socket were slightly more expensive then those of LGA 1155...i know that 'FC' in FCLGA stands for flip chip..but i don't really know the advantages or disadvantages on each of them...and also

1.)What's the difference b/w FCLGA and LGA...
2.)Why FCLGA are more expensive then LGA.....
3.)And is FCLGA processor compatible for a normal LGA 1155 socket MOBO..
