Today I tried to setup voice chat on Steam and XFire for the first time using Soundblaster X-fi. I could not figure out how to do this at all. Nothing would work for me. Finally I decide to just uninstall Soundblaster X-Fi and just use the Windows 7 version sound or audio program and it worked. My question here is how do you use or setup Soundblaster X-fi for voice chat using XFire, Steam or any other chat program out there? This Soundblast X-Fi is part of my G1.Sniper motherboard.
