HI
can you please tell me what you think of the following
for I7 980X  CPU

I have been in love with the i7 980x when it was called the i9 in beta and so happy it fits my x58 motherboard. Honestly, that's it - it fits any x58 1366 size motherboard and I don't see the need to max out credit for a motherboard when the CPU is already $1000.

Unless you are going to do some rocket science and pump up several 30" 2560 - 1680 monitors or change the world. I would go with something that does the job for what it's worth.
