Well if you follow MW at all then by now you should know that 4 has been free released! When this happened the gates of H*ll opened and let loose all the possible issues one could imagine with a game that old! First I gotta give credit to the people behind all the real work to get it to free release.
Now to the really big issue I currently have! I have a Linksys WRT-160n (been great) , but now I have the problem of trying to get ports opened to multiple computers behind my router. I have 1 wired (mine), and 3 wireless that all need to be able to play MW4 at the same time on the same server. To make it worse I will also need the ability to host from time to time and run ventrilo server all the time! I need to have port range 2300-2400 open to game while I have port 47624 to host the best I can tell. Till now there hasn't been much help with this issue that is both feasible and can be utilized wide spread. We really need something that will work for a lot of users. I and we appreciate any help you can give us for playing and hosting such old games behind routers with firewalls!
Check your Router and Modem and disable the firewalls.
Or...

get into setup page of router with 192.168.1.1......go to application and gaming.....under that go to port trigerring....under application type anything and in front of that in all the four boxes type in that port no..check that enable box and hit save settings.....u will not face this problem again
Ok, my bad I didn't put this up....I've already disabled software firewalls and I'm not happy with the idea of disabling my routers firewall. Also, I'm not sure that post applys to me wanting to put 4 computers through the same port range.
