First off, let me say thank you for having me on this website and the forums. I have been building PC's for roughly 3 years now, mainly gaming PC's. Here is the current build I did at a Budget for 2010 featured below:

Now I am looking at putting together a new AMD setup. I would normally go with Intel, but for best bang for you buck, AMD is still impressing me with their line of processors. The type of gamer I would be classified is a FPS (First Person Shooter). I am steering away from the Call of Duty series, since they feel like an Arcade style of FPS. I grew up on FPS with Wolf3d, Doom, Hexen, etc til today. Here is what I am looking at to put together and need some advice if this would be a wise choice for the next 2 years before upgrading any piece of hardware.
Processor- AMD Phenom II X6 1090T
Motherboard- MSi 790FX-GD70
RAM-G-Skill Ripjaws + Turbulence II PC3-16000 6GB kit
Case- Azza Hurrican 2000 or Antec DF-85
CPU Cooler- Antec Hydro H70
PSU- Corsair AX800w Modular
HDD 1: Intel x25 80GB SSD
HDD 2: Intel x25 80GB SSD (both for RAID 0)
HDD 3: WD Caviar Black 640gb 32mb cache
Media 1: Lite-on 24X DVD/RW
Media 2: Lite-on 4x Blu Ray Reader
Graphics Card- Sapphire Radeon 5870X2 HD
Sounds ok?
