Which cooler is good, but not too big?

Hello forum and Rodney!

I am planning on getting myself a new computer (with amd processor phenom II 965 - am3 socket) and would like to put another cpu cooler instead of stock one.
So I would like your opinion which cooler is good enough and is not too big (like scythe mugen 2) but is capable to cool down processor better than the stock one? I won't be overclocking.

You could go with a Corsair H50 for under 100$! It's great! Quick and easy water cooling setup perfect for OC'ing ( ex. phenom ii x4 965 black ) Keeps your temps low

If you prefer air cooling, you can use the Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro Rev. 2 or the Cooler Master suggested above.

Thanks guys, you were very helpful, think I'm gonna choose between Freezer and Hyper 212 cause H50 exceeds my budget limit (at least in my country) :(

Ohh yes V8, that one might do as well :) and its in my budget allowance, thanks for the heads up guys. It would look very nice in HAF 932.
