Which free firwall?

I am using Win XP, and it comes with a firewall, which I have never really done anything with.

I heard that if you are using free anti-virus, that it is better to use the free Zonealarm firewall then the WinXP firewall.

Do any of you have experience with the zonealarm firewall?

I found some info here:

I have used ZoneAlarm for awhile but I've switched to Comodo and I think it's much better. Uses less system resources and has less annoying alerts.
