I've tried ProXPN GPass, and OpenVPN as well as some others. A few I couldn't get to work and some i just didn't prefer. Does anyone know know of a good free VPN service?
WothProXPN, its okay, but i would like to get different servers so its not just 1.
GPass keeps looking for server tunnels, but it doesn't do anything.
I'm not sure what I was doing wrong with OpenVPN.
I'm looking for some that have no limits and are free.
Give HotspotShield a try. Reconnecting gives you a new IP.
Do you trust this software? I tried HotspotShield and it constantly kept popping up ads, redirecting me to ads, and also added ads to websites I was viewing, even google.com had a big banner on top.. Are you sure this is safe?
They need to make money somehow. The business model doesn't work when you offer a VPN service for free, really. I rather see ads then have them sell my personal information ;)
I don't know if they can be trusted. Lots of people use it though.
Can't stand hotshield
I kinda suspect all my personal information now goes directly to hotshield :p
Oh and pricek, give Tor a try, I used it before and it's a bit slow but it's free and has no ads.

If you don't want to install and setup the applications then you can also use JanusVM, it's a small virtual machine that has Tor preinstalled. You just make a VPN connection with the virtual machine and you're off.
