Hey, I just got built my brand new PC.
Specs: i5-3570k
Asus P8Z77-V PRO
Evga 560 Ti
NZXT Hale82 750W
WD Blue 500GB 6GB/s
Corsair Force 3 SSD 60GB
CM Trooper
Evga Superclock heatsink
Everything is at stock and I have two 120mm fan up front, a 200mm up top, a 120mm at the back, and the heatsink of course. The PSU fan is facing down so no hot air will affect my temps.
At the moment, I have every fan on low and my idle temps are 28C, and mobo temps are at 24C on idle. Is this a good idle temp or could it be lower (btw, I used the Artic Silver 5 ) because I don't know if I installed the heatsink well enough.
its fine
If you didn't install the heat-sink properly it would not be sitting idle at 28C
Alright, just making sure I'm getting correct temps for a correct installation. What would be a good temp if I put it under 100% load for ten minutes?
run prime95 for 10minutes and find the answer (=
Seems really ok, my core 2 quad run at 35-40 idle and 65-66 full load... the motherboard is between 35 and 38 in all circomstance... (My case is a antec 900)
