Can anyone recommend a water cooler for me?
my specs are :
AMD Phenom II 965 @ stock
Gigabyte 890GPA UD3H
GTX 470 (if that matters)
NZXT Beta
I was thinking of getting the corsair H60 because it seems to have a good price to performance ratio. I might be doing some slight overclocking also. And it has to last for AMD bulldozer.
(P.S. is the hardware section down for anyone else?)
maybe go with a h70 i got one and i love it cooling my AMD 1100T
If you plan on doing only slight overclocking, I would not suggest an ALC, maybe go for an aftermarket air cooler like the CM Hyper 212+, provides excellent bang for the buck.
The problem with air cooling on my system is the way the motherboard is i can only orientate it up or down. Also the H70 seems to be discontinued. Don't feel like going on eBay.
antec kuhler 620, performs better than corsair h50, or you can try corsair h80 and h100
H70 or H80 would be enough, or the Antec Kuhler. Nice and self-contained.
The H70 and Kuhler 620 are the same cooler with different fans. They are both made by Azentech for Corsair and Antech. The H80 and H100 are made by Coolit.
I just bought the Corsair H60 2 days ago and added another fan and i overclocked my cpu from 2.66 to 4.0 an on idle the temps are 38 39 ªc and in full load they are 59 60 ºc and its rare to get 60 only when i do the prime95 test so its really good
The H60 has turned out to be a killer cooler. Likely, this will be the choice for my upcoming Bulldozer x6 rig (if I was going x8 as I had hoped, it would have been the H100).
Most ALC coolers can be beat by a venemous x or silverarrow.
I have a water cooling guide as well

I'd say the H80 if you can't fit an H100 in your case, The h80 is pretty beefy and it has a built in fan controller same with the h100.
I use a H100 corsair and it's amazing with a push/pull config. I get around 27 ideal to 50-55 load.
Thermaltake Water 2.0 Pro or the Water 2.0 Extreme if you have the room. Rad is thicker than the h100 and cools better.
