Review It!!

I found a new best friend, was once the KT7A-Raid, now that I see Abit adding DDR, I love the KG7-Raid.

Yea, I've been keeping my eye on this mobo for a while. It nearly has all the features I could want in a mobo of my own :) About the only real things I can think of to add is to make it an AGP Pro slot, maybe add dual BIOS, for extra protection, USB 2.0 compliant ports, and maybe give a bit more room around the cpu for larger HSF's :) But unless the KR7 is a LOT more impressive, this is currently my fav. mobo :)

That is one nice pic. Looks even better than Rodney's pics with his 3.3M Pixel cam

Mike Johnson, read the text about the pic in my first post. "Here's a few pics from their site (I will have a few additional pics when I get the product)" :0

I dunno about this board... sure it has 4 dimm slots (DDR) and can use unbuffered memory, but its only a little faster than other boards out there and from what ive seen it doesnt overclock as good as the Epox 8K7A either.

Ill probably go for a SIS735 motherboard myself unless the updated KT266 can whooo me over.... and dont say NFORCE cause i know which videocard i want, and which soundcard i want, and i wont be using 2 dimms so the dual channel is useless to me. :)

I just wish I remember where I found this one. If I do come across it again, I will definetely credit the person who took it.

Until then, just admire the beauty of this sweet board :)

YAY!

And just when im in the market for a new... uh..uh.. EVERYTHING!!! :)

I need help deciding on a board and this is one of the contenders i think

The others are boards based on SIS735, AliMagik1 (the new B0 stepping only) and the Epox8K7A+

I almost can't wait for this board anymore. Too bad Abit had to delay it... 4gbs of DDR..

This is a great board, although it has some ram issues which Abit has provided drivers for already and fixed.... It also supports XP chips with a bios update which abit also provided... Great stable motherboard I have been able to easily over clock my Tbird AIYJAH 266FSB to 1620 135 FSB 12x 1.8V I rock stable @ 1.4 and 1.7V i can achieve 35C @ idle and @ 1.620 1.8V i can achieve 40C idle... BTW if you are going to get this board remember to buy from www.crucial.com (http://www.crucial.com) and you won't need a bios update... because their ram is 100% functional... other then that this board doesn't have any glitches, it hasn't frozen on me i've been using it for a month no problems what so ever.

I just watched it, good review. I have the Epox 8k7a+ Motherboard which is very similar to this, but I do like the Abit's softmenu feature alot which mine is lacking.

Rodney, I think you had your benchmark (Sisoft Sandra) on buffered benchmark. IT would normally only score about 650/700 for the ALU and FPU performance of the RAM (Or Integer I believe and FPU).

Only the KT266A with CAS2 DDR ram can get close to the magic 1000 mark (without buffering the benchmark.

Kewl Mobo though, have you tried the MSI K7T266 Pro2-RU yet?

I am sure some people( you know who you are hehe j/k ) would not agree with me about this 100%.

But belive it or not I actually realy liked the review, and expecially the description of how the Bios features were not only shown but more discussed in detail this time.

Kick ass Video Review for sure

All i can realy say is that the Ending was More than honest in every aspect
