A video review will be posted within the next two weeks detailing my results on this great affordable memory. For now I can say that I am happy with the performace of this memory. My Abit KT7A mobo's memory setting are MAXED (4-way, turbo setting, etc..) and all is happy :)

Why in hell do they call it their memory when its tonicom and it comes @ that speed. I just bought 256 megs of the stuff @ ncix.com for 99 bucks and its soooo sweet. Tonicom ram is the best for the price. So, what does OCZ do to this ram to make it theirs??

the sticker? thats it? hmmm,,,im biting my tongue :)
Nathan:
You were fortunate. I paid $145 for mine 2 weeks ago at NCIX, and now it is only $89 for a 256 Meg Stick.....who knew.... MCIX would not give me price protection.
And I bought 4 of them. The 256 Meg sticks do look cool though with 2 rows of the Tonicom Chips all on the one side.

So in theory if a mobo manafacture could do it you could have a option in the bios for 166 memory and 133/266(thunderbird) ie memory running at 33 more than the cpu , am I right or is it just for overclocking ?

This ram is for Overclocking FSB :)
Most of this PC166 ram will only go to 166MHz at DEFAULT bios memory setting. When BIOS memory setting are maxed (4way, turbo, cas 222, etc.) it usually only goes up to about 140145MHz. This is still amazing when you consider that all memory setting are totally maxed. Consider this, most normal PC133 memory can't handle max setting at 133MHz.

This review will now be put off until a few weeks. I'm looking at the LG 15" TFT in it's place.
