Hmmm..just wondering who in this forum is married/single/gf/bf....all that stuff. and if you are among the ones with a significant other..do they get on the forums??? or do they just dont care about computers that much (you guys know what i mean)

I have a very significant other - my beautiful wife...

She's the best - and I couldn't live without her. Married two and a half years... We've had our ups and downs, but I wouldn't trade it for anything (not even a 9700 Pro, although that's tempting... JK :)....

And she's getting into all this computer stuff too... She has her own computer and I swear she's on it as much as I am. In fact, she just got registered on the forum, so she'll be on here too! :luxhello :heartbeat

So that's my significant other... And my better half...

Her name is WazLady (and I'm her wazman) and she would love to be a 3GM Babe if she could. She registered this morning but hasn't posted yet... But I know she will, just to keep an eye on me... :)

We've been married for 2 years and 6 months... Actually, we first met about 11 years ago through a mutual friend... We dated for a couple of months and then lost touch... Three years ago, she got a divorce from her first husband and the mutual friend (who I worked with at the time) got us back together... Nine months later we were shackled - uh, I mean joined at the hip - uh, that's right - married... :D :luxhello

So it's kind of one of those sweet, sappy stories that everybody always goes awwww over... I'll try to get pics up here if I can just get some pics and figure out how to do it (no webcam or digital cam, only an old scanner and a lot of confusion)...

I'm single :Crying. I broke up a year long relationship back in Nov. and haven't had any action in my love life since then...but I have a feeling that's a going to change. I have a couple prospects at the college I'm going to, a friend who approached me about becoming friends with benefits and a old girl friend who wants to have a group.....ummmm...'party' in my hot tub. Next week is going to be VERY interesting.....

Well I go to Kwantlen....but the prospects there are only for long term good relationships. The other two are old high school friends...With the hot tub girl I'm starting a Kink contest where we get kink points for certain things we do...at the end of summer, who ever has the least kink points has to buy the other a round of drinks....still haven't figured out a good point scale though

Ya... I'm single too.... broke up with my gf at the begginning of the school year (~6 months ago).

But that's ok i guess, life goes on, and it helps me appreciate a lot of other things in life that I used to take for granted. As much as I can't OC my 1.6A past 147FSB, I'm beginning to appreciate that it actually OCed 47%, it's pretty good though it's not the best.

Great time to post this. The girl I love just decided we're better off as friends, and she has a new bf. She says she loves me more, but shes away for school right now. Ill have to just cross my fingers for when she comes back I guess. :(

Everybody please note two things:

1) She picked out the black case...

and

2) She was gonna say "boring black case"... But I pointed out to her that we have a nice 266Mhz PII at the shop that she could use if she doesn't like what she has now...

But yeah, I do have some definite ideas for her case... I think it could look as cool as mine when I'm done with it... Or at least it'll look different...

absolutely & hopelessly single... even though there is supposed to be a huge disparity in women to men down here in south florida, it seems that all the women are flocking after a very small minority of the male population -- jocks.

there are a few exceptions to the general rule, but I dont seem to be one of them. My current dry spell has gone on for years so far without me even getting close.

awww...that's not fun then.... that's the BEST part about buying a new computer. Having all the parts there one by one and install it yourself.

I brought a used system that someone gave Wazman's store, since they brought a new one from them. Since they used my old processor for someone else. I had to get a new motherboard and CPU. So a new case I needed and I picked out the black one they had on hand. Yes, I did say it was boring....since my husbands is COOL with the lights and all...mine is boring compared to his...:cool:

It is nice having my own EXersGRL..you will enjoy yours!

I think I will hang out mainly in the Off Topic area, since I cannot answer any overclocking issues and such :Sigh

But Wazman is teaching me the ropes....:beer

But it's not that big of a deal, I'm not that broke up about it because I could see our relationship slowly dieing for over a year now. It was half my fault and half her fault (as it usually is).

The only thing I have hard feelings about is the fact that almost a year ago she quit her job (with the intention of getting a better one.... supposedly :Yea right) but since then all she did was sit on her ass in front of her (now my) computer while I was footing the bill for everything. Rent, utilities, food, cable (with 1.5Mb/s internet access) and I built her her own kick ass computer (the one that is currently my secondary computer in my sig). I even foot the bill each month for the game Dark Ages of Camelot just for only her to play (I didn't play it, I didn't like the game). And how does she repay me? By meeting a guy on the game and leaving me to go off and shack up with him.

As for our relationship breaking up, I really don't care. But she didn't have to use me like that. :mad:

Well this is probably one of the most redundant posts here but I'm married to bejohnson on the forum. For those who want to know his name it's Barney Edgar Johnson and mine is Brandi Leigh Peterson. I use Peterson professionally but Johnson is my last name. We were married on 20 December 2001 but really consider our first date on 12 December 1992 as our last day of being single. I’m 35 and he is 51. Since I'm a captain in the U.S. Navy we only see each other on weekends about 6-7 months out of the year. It's hard but worth it.:heartbeat As all can attest we are both hopeless romantics. That about sums us up.

Very happily married to Lady C

She's into computers and the internet... first thing in the morning she's reading the rpg newsgroups... she knows about 3dgameman... but I figure she has enough on her plate, there's aforementioned newsgroups, her games she wants to play and 4 kids, a 9 year old, 3 year old, almost 2 year old and 6 month old

We share almost the same system specs... we both have Asus P4B533 mobo's, ATI 9700 Pros and 512M RAM

She's got a new DVD in her machine(I felt sorry for her because I spent so much time out of town this week)
