This was not written by me and I take no credit for it. I just thought I'd let all the people who got as wrapped up in this movie as I did indulge in this nice disection of what can be a dumbfounding movie.

Wow, someone is an uber geek or seen that movie way to much. I explained some of this stuff before in a cliff note version, but that is too much.

No, but he figured out the Zion is a matrix thing. Not the other stuff. I'm suprised someone has time to think of all of that.

Yeah Revolutions will explain everything. If they were smart, they would go the COMPLETE opposite way and confuse and dazzle everyone. I wanna see more freaking gun fighting!!!!

I could live without guns in the matrix. Weapons just seem to get in the way... So limiting.

Except for swords that is... Can never have enough swords.

That's pretty much what I got out of the movie...and THEN some!!

Whoa...the whole binary thing was a tad freakeh...along with the whole thing about the disc in the book that Neo used in the beginning...if that kinda depth is indeed in the movie than...well....WOW!:Holy Crap :Holy Crap

All very interesting in deed, but there is something that I saw in the movie that was not explained

In the movie, ater Zion was destroyed, the guy tell Neo and trinity about it said the sentinals came and killed everyone, then started digging again. Now what are they digging for? A second Zion maybe? The Real one? Who knows, guess we will find out.

No, no...they haven't killed Zion yet. What he was referring to was the early battle. Remember the defense guy wanted to send out a small fleet of ships to head off the machines? Well they're battle was sabotoged and everyone was killed and then the machines continued on down to Zion.

I just sort of wish they could have remixed
the 2nd movie a little more. If any of that stuff is true about the movie then they sort of put too much information into the 3rd movie. The 3rd movie should have a lot of new elements that the 2nd one was extremely dry of.

WOW, I'm amazed at the guy who wrote the explaination. But what I'm MORE amazed about is if the explaination was TRUE, I'm seriously BOWING down the uber-geeky-creators of the Matrix movie. :hail :hail :hail :hail :hail

I wonder if Keanu Reeves knows about the "explaination", or maybe that is why he paid the 16 geeks from the crew $40 Million between the 16 of them.

Maybe I should go watch Reloaded another time, then perhaps the movie will seem more interesting and less boring this time.

I'm still in SHOCKED of this explaination.....

/hits ALT+TAB to read it again

All I have to say, is that this explaination is so TEH SH*T, you HAVE to spell "THE" as "TEH"!!!!! (excuse my language)

Ya he did, it was on the news, he made like 5% of the box about which came out to be 50 some odd million dollars, and he gave $40 million or so to the geeks who help made the movie possible like the Computer Graphics guys and such.

That was one impressive read. If the guy is correct, which I believe he is as I have formulated many of the same ideas, then he truely deserves some reward.:jawsdown

Keanu Is Keeping His Money, Thanks Very Much

Matrix star Keanu Reeves is a generous guy, but reports of his wild generosity are not true.

Yesterday the British tabloids, in a fit of creative mania, decided that Reeves had given $82 million to the crew who worked on The Matrix films.

"I have enough money to last for centuries," Reeves proclaimed, and it was reprinted everywhere.

Where do they get this stuff from?

Indeed, one of the people cited as receiving a check for $2.8 million was Kym Barrett, the costume designer for The Matrix series. She's the one who made Neo's famous long trench coat. So I called Barrett up and asked her how she felt being a millionaire.

"A what?" she asked. Sadly, she has not gotten a dime in the mail from Reeves.

"I mean, he's very nice. He plays with my kids. We love working with him, but no, no checks," she laughed.

Was there anyone who'd gotten this money as described in breathless reports?

"No one I know of," she said.

Barrett, by the way, wouldn't mind if Warner Bros., or Joel Silver wanted to merchandise those long coats. She's ready to become a fashion designer.

As for Keanu doling out the big bucks, here's the real story: Two years ago he put some of his upfront money back into the production budget to ensure the creative staff -- costumes, special effects etc. -- could continue working on the trilogy. This was back when the first Matrix had not yet hit pay dirt. Since then, believe me, the movies have been such a success that everyone's gotten what they needed.

But Keanu has not written any personal checks to anyone. Sorry.

So I guess Keanu Reeves should be a Public Enemy of the geeks for not respecting them.

well, SHAME on him, the movie wouldn't of exist if it wasn't for the computer graphics artists.

I agree with everything except for the smith, so his collegues are humans too? and was he disguised as an agent

are agents just humans trying to get control of the machines?

The track guy showed about rejecting both codes. He couldn't accept the code in the real world and he couldn't accept it in the "zion matrix" so he was unplugged and then replugged. That is why Neo went into a coma...a "reboot"

"matricized" I believe is the name of the last one, which...I don't quite understand the point, what a machine can think? and be converted to serve us? what's the point?

It's a knowledge thing.

i thought of it in a way that if they could get one machine to convert they could get more and then they could fight fire wit fire or maybe just get infromation and use them as spies....

True but the story was 20 minutes long and reminded me of Tron 2.0
