why don't you buy new? it isn't very expensive any more... i can get you a good 50X for like 30 american dollars

that creative 52x cdrom is soo crappy.. i'd get the panasonic 48x over the creative..

Yea- the Creative 52x have failure issues- I've seen many just die :( -
