1. never buy a used fan except some cpu fan/heatsink combo's may be worth buying used if they have a ballbearing fan or price is right and fan can easyly be replaced.

2. Always buy ballbearing fans. NKB make some of the better ones.

are you trying to buy a used fan? for Case fans a new one isn't taht expensive. they're like 6 bucks each for ball bearings and 10 bucks for roller bearing. all prices are in canadian funds.

my shoping list for fans is
9x 120mm w/ filter and grill
4x those harddrive fans that fit in the 3-1/2bay for my 2raids (scsi+ide)

kinda wanna mod my hx-08..
i live in montreal they costlike 30$/each new
