Last week I got a letter in the mail saying I have to go register for school Aug 5, and school starts Aug 18. Now I got out at the end of June, WTF happend to "summer"??
Anyway I was just wondering who else is heading back to school? I'm going to be a junior and start driving this year, my motorycle (Yeah baby!:luxhello ). My only fear is if someone tips my Kawasaki over that they recieve my first ever ass-whooping!! :smash Other than that I really don't feel like putting up with another year.:Sigh The only advice I recieved was from my dad, "Watch out for those girls all hanging out by your bike".....lol, girls.....noticing the ol' Trailer Trash?:rofl2 :rofl2
BTW:Here is a picture of my mom helping get ready for school.

I am not old dear. We were supposed to have my 10 year reunion last year. Guess no one wanted to remember it since I never got an invite.
:(
But our Senior year song was "I've Got Friends In Low Places" from Garth Brooks.

I totally agree. High School is the best. I hate Elementary. I hate Junior High. But I love High School!!! Your whole life will completely change once you start high school. When I entered high school, I my totally changed to the better.
Now I miss high school. Can't wait till the 10 year reunion.
Congrats to the grads of 2002. Gooooo knights!!!
For me it's 1998 - 2002

I personally can't stand the place. For the past 2 years + Jr. High I never went to any parties, gatherings, or anything like that. I was hoping and planning that this would be the year I start to socialize with friends a bit now that we all can drive. So far I don't have any good memories excpet how fast freshman year flew by and how Sophmore year did but a little slower.

Before high school, I was a shy guy that don't socialize with people. Once I was in high school, everything has changed. I socialize with people, I make lots more friends, and I my shyness has gone away as the year goes by. One other thing I noticed is that time flies by really quick in high school. That's one thing I don't like. I wished high school is longer, but one year of high school feels like half a year.
Seriously though, doesn't time fly when you were in high school?

High School was a great place... the only thing bad about it was Social Studies
Can't recall how many capacitors, ICs, tubes we intentionally blew up when we got bored.
btw, Electronic Lab was the only class that actually blared a radio during class(I like classes where eveyone was allowed to go at their own pace, I couldn't wait to get past the actual curriculum and on to extra credit)
ohh... just realised, I mentioned tubes... for you young uns, those components are what were used as transistors before silicon :D

High School flew for me!!!!:bounce
I enjoyed it. Made good friends...though I don't talk to any of them any longer. But I would go back to a reunion and like to see everyone.
I should send my school my new address...

1999-2003....worst 4 years I could ever possibly imagine...I wouldn't even sentence Saddam Hussein to that kind of a fate...I'd rather he just be pecked to death by ducks. :Holy Crap

Yes you should send them your new address. Unless you don't want to be notified about when the reunion is or where it is.

Now adays, we have something called Intependent Studies. It's a class where you choose a subject to study on your own for the whole semestry. You do labs, projects, but no tests. You work on your own paste. I chose Flash Animations for the first semestr and HTML (HTML is boring as hell so I played games for an hour each day :) ) for the second semester. I love these classes because there are no teachers to boss you around. You can even go for a walk if you want. Did I mention I got a 100% on both of those courses? Well I did.

I would definitely recommend attending your reunions
You can start comparing your accomplisments with others in your class
It's amazing what happens to some of the people you went to school with... and others... not so amazing
The one rated most likely to succeed ended up at an accounting firm, but one of the guys that I thought would do good as well... became just a salesman... it was the drugs he started to do when he went to University... I was amazed myself, actually dropping classes I knew he had the knack for.
As I walked into the Gym where we held the wine and cheese party for our 10 year reunion, I was immediately recognised, a good sign, I had most of my hair, and I wasn't overweight :)
No one seemed too surprised to hear that I was in the electronics industry
hmmm next year is 25 years since I left high school
Ohh yeah, they took us on a tour of the school, I couldn't believe that BHS would be ranked as one of the best schools in Calgary for sciences

I have heard that about reunions. Where you think you failed, but see others either in the same boat or worse.
A co-worker told me she went to a reunion and all the popular girls either worked in banks as a teller or they didn't age to weel..
My mother has a friend that organized all of her high school reunions and the one girl in their class that was as skinny as Twiggy now weighes at least 300 pounds...and one guy became a girl.
But I would like to go back to one of mine. I went to a small Cathloic High School and my graduating class was a grand total of 76 people. So needless to say we all knew one another.

Well I am entering my 9th grade next year which is my first year in high school (freshman) wish me good luck everyone :D
I will start driving next year I am almost 15 now and school start beginning of September (4th I THINK)...I live in California!
It's so wierd...I wish like the whole state had one district. This way a district 3 miles away from me starts school earlier than us or later so I end up having friends go to school while I enjoy myself or vice versa :(!
/me goes to check if I stil have friends :lmao
I hope high school will be cool for me, I am pretty smart my eachers say and mature I just have to try harder (sometimes I get overhelmed with Homework so....I don't do it or do it late. I HAVE TO change that in high school) and I am cool with friends and all especially because I have totally revamped myself socially withinn the past years...:Sigh if there weren't thse "popular" kids around :(
I hope I will be able to get hold of the not so popular cool groups in high, I will get into a better school district and new friends :D
Wish me luck :)

Oh homework. I'm the guy who does every at the last moment. Once we had to do this 2500 word formal essay and I didn't started till the last day. I started on the day it was due. So I skipped every class and stayed in the Library and worked on it. I skipped all my breaks and even lunch. Luckily, my english class is last period.
