I watched the latest Bond flick on DVD, Die Another Day.
Pierce Brosnan did a great job.

Yet, which actor do you think did 007 the best?

1. Sean Connery
2. George Lazenby (even if he did only one)
3. Roger Moore
4. Timothy Dalton
5. Pierce Brosnan

This something I wanted to try out before made any new threads.

Gotta be Sean,

"Well Hello Mish Munny Penny!"

Pierce Brosnan looks better in Die another Day - his head is too big for his body in the others - check it out - his body os tiny, his head is large!

:lmao :lmao

What about the next bond though?

I vote Adrian Paul. (he's actually one of the candidates anyway... So)

I'll tell you...this is almost sacriligious...but I'd say Pierce is the best one...overall, he has the better look, the best accent, the right "I'll kick your ass" moves...he just seems the best. My order for the Bonds, excluding Casino Royale, even though it was written by Ian Flemming anyway goes:

1. Pierce Brosnan
2. Roger Moore
3. Sean Connery (pretty much tied exactly with Roger)
4. George Lazenby (not a bad Bond, just got hosed w/a horrible script)
and 5. Timothy Dalton...whom I hate profusely.

:Holy Crap

Well how about this, who do you think should be the next Bond and why?

I think Clive Owens could be the next Bond as he just has that style. If you do not believe me go to www.bmwfilms.com, click on Season 1 Films on the top right hand bar, then download and watch the short film called Ambush. Then watch the film called Hostage, then Ticker. If those do not convince you he is capable of playing a Bond style character at least involving these types of scenes, then I do not know who would. Let me know what you guys think!

Sean Connery is my pick. He had style, plus he had the coolest accent. I never did liked the new Remmington Steele movies, er... uh, I... mean watching Pierce Brosnan play as 007. I keep thinking that Laura Holt was going to pop out of somewhere to save his ass.

Definitely - have you seen Croupier? He is excellent in that - check out IGN Film Force for pics of him as King Arthur - done properly as Celtic/Romano British insteaf of Plate Armour etc - it looks good.

Bond Info:::::::::
Roger Moore
Moore's contract for the 007 films provided him with an unlimited supply of Montecristo cigars during filming. The bill for this typically ran to thousands of pounds and was met by the producers.
His Bond was seen as closer to the original conception than Sean Connery's portrayal.

Pierce Brosnan
He purchased the typewriter of the James Bond creator, Ian Fleming, for £52,800.

my fav is Sean Connery

My favorite Bond will always be David Niven.

Really.

Look it up.

(No, seriously, it's Sean Connery, whose voice I can do a pretty good imitation of...)

Yeah he was good - so was Woody!

I like George Lazenby when he goes: "This never happened to the other guy!" in OHMSS

Woody?

Yeah, it's too bad Lazenby never got to make any other Bond films... Wonder where we'd be right now if he had...

I have to say, IMO, Tim Dalton was the worst...

Yeah - that really sucked when Pierce Brosnan was all set to take on the Bond role and then the producers of Remington Steele wouldn't let him... Lots of people thought he got cheated. Luckily for him he got the chance again later.

I think he meant Woody Allen...who played James Bond's nephew "Jimmy Bond" in Casino Royale..the James Bond spoof written by Ian Fleming himself (the author of all the original Bond novels). You have to see the movie to understand just how many Bonds there really were, lol. :Holy Crap

I really don't know how many people will remember Timothy Dalton's stunning role as the cunning and witty Prince Barin in the absolute box office smash hit, "Flash Gordon". (If anyone else knows the movie...they know all of the above was pretty much sarcasm) :Holy Crap

I prefer Sean Connery, he looked the part, you had no problem believing that he was a secret agent

Then I'd have to say Roger Moore...

Tie between Timothy Dalton and Pierce Brosnan

Oh hell yes I liked Flash Gordon...I love B-movies (The Adventures of Buckaroo Bonzai across the 8th Dimension, The Last Dragon, Dolomite, Killer Klowns From Outer Space, etc.), but still, they are really bad movies all the same, I just happen to embrace that fact. :Holy Crap

Hey, I remember this post...

Then again, I think Sean Connery had the role patted down, even though Roger Moore was more of the actual Bond that Ian Fleming wanted.
