I meant that as a joke comparing to the Masturbation Champ.
The last time I spend an entire night with a girl in bed, we broke up after 8 days of dating. Which I certainly wasn't proud of, but her reason for breaking up was that she's not ready for a committed realationship. :Sigh

It's 0611 here. I usually run from 0330 until 0530 each morning. I rise early and usually get by on 4 hours sleep a night. When I'm with Ed we crash on the weekend and though I still run I usually shower and go bother him for a couple of hours.:devil then we sleep till noon.:thumb

I've been doing 30K (18.65 miles) every morning for 15 years. If I don't run at least 20K I really don't feel good. On a normal morning I will get up at 0300 and do stretching exercises for about 15 minutes, I then will work out on the total gym for about 30 minutes, do 250 push-ups in no more than 6 minutes (usually less than 5), 500 sit-ups and 300 crunches. I then relax with the 30K run over 2 hours and 15 minutes. I then shower and take on the day. It's about a total of 4 hours in the morning that I reserve for myself. Of course I do a lot of thinking and mind work while running. My personal best for a 10K is 28 minutes and 17 seconds when I was 28. I now do the 10K in about 33 minutes. I refuse to run 10Ks competitively because it's not a challenge.
In the evenings I do about 2 hours of marshal arts training with a couple of SEAL buddies. After I thoroughly abuse them:) I usually jog home to cool down. It's about 5K from the ship to my billet.
You truly have an admirer:D . I spend about 8 hours a week in the gym. I cannot even imagine spending four hours a day (well, I can if I didnt work thirteen hours a day). I truly admire your ambition towards physical fitness. It is something everybody should have (especially once you hit thirty as your motabolism changes). A year ago, a co-worker collapsed at work from a heart attack. He was only six years older than I am. THAT WILL NEVER BE ME!!! Congrats on your achievement Brandi:thumb , Don't ever let up and let it go.

My routine is one of the things that defines who I am. Every year when they do my physical. They put me on the treadmill, wire me up and have me run. They are amazed that after 2 hours when I give the final burst of 15 minutes flat out that my heart rate never exceeds 105 and my respirations never go above 36. My hubbie Ed watch about a month ago and said be had a heart attack just watching me.:) They say my cardiopulmonary capacity is at least 50% greater than average. It's that good clean mid-western farm living.:)

At rest I run 40-45 with respirations at around 8-10. My average body temperature runs at 99.6ºF. One degree above normal. The studies they are doing are genetic studies to find out why. I think it comes from doing the routine all my life. I started martial arts when I was three and I pretty much had my routine down by high school. I'll be 36 in December.
When I go for my PRT (Physical Readiness Test) for the navy it's got to where the staff looks at me and says "You Again." They hate it because I make them run with me not watch me.:devil

I also have a consistent body temperature that hovers around 100 degrees or so, sometimes hitting 102 without issues...people think its weird, because I'm always warmer than they are, but I always thought there was nothing wrong w/being above the average...thought the average human temp. of 98.6 was just that, an average, taking into account those of us above as well as below.
On a side note...have you heard of any conditions that could cause or come as a result of having an increased constant body temperature...because I'd like a little warning if so. Thanks.

Huh... That's kind of cool... I am the exact opposite - I'm usually a bit cooler than 98.6... So when I get a fever you can really tell. Also I find I'm more sensitive to hot and cold weather than some people... I wonder if it's connected somehow...

can’t figure what’s wrong with me. I've been in gyms for years
and now I can't get out and do it anymore. If anything
I'm really too strong and need to focus on endurance.
Seems like the only time I want to get in shape is when I

Tivon, the reason that you can not get around to going to the gym anymore is that just looking good for women is not a good and long motivator. The main reason should be to stay healthy building up your strength and endurance. Mixing a good work out routine with a proper diet will automatically make you look good. Your goals should always be your own expectations. Once they are met, then you raise them.

Geess... remind me to never fight you in the dark.:devil :Wink
My teacher is going to kill me because I can't recall how to spell
his name. I think he has a shop setup in Atlanta now, but it's
been so long. He called it Molam??? Wushu Soft Style Kung-Fu.
He learned from his teacher in the Army. They where based
in Germany at the time. And this was a blend of Wushu Chiness
and Kung-Fu Japanies. In short I was not forced to use straight
leg kicking styles and could bend the knees. I trained with him
for about 2 years. He never gave me a rank or a belt, but I know
he was ultra good. I asked him once and he avoided it with
another question...sigh Man.. those days where so fun. I recall
clocking him across the face once and he kept his cool. Later I payed
for it as he dragged me around by the foot because I was "hot
headed" so he said. Blah.. I did gloat about it and he should have
blocked such an easy kick. I was never much of a Kwon Do
man myself. I find it really.. hmmm.. how to say..basic? I know it
does not matter what art you learn, it's the person that uses
the art that makes it good.
I'm not a fan of, "Punch punch..Kick Kick punch kick" and you get
a new belt color..whoppy!:p I like to get in there and control
the flow with a grapel while stricking a nerve and put them into
a hold on the ground they can't get out of without passing out.

She will fight his battles for him.:KICKASS
I know.. I feel so rotten.. all those years I was working-out
to look good and get girls. However deep inside I wanted
to be ultra smart.. So I guess computers got the best of me
and I found myself playing mind games and doing lots and lots of
research. :Yea right

I'll tell you...I'd really prefer to look great I think over what little intellect is left upstairs...or at least find myself a nice trade off between the two...dump the geek edge a little bit, seems like it kinda shoves people away, though that might just be my coarse personality and even more coarse sense of humor.

Geekhood may bring in the money, but alot of girls/women don't like it, so I stop it right there.

Bobby, I was a geek in school. I've always looked the way I look but it's how you feel about yourself. I got to credit Ed. He made me realize that I was nice looking. He gave me something that all the Martial Arts could not do. And that was confidence in myself. It's had to believe that I, Brandi Peterson, one of the toughest, most independent women you will ever meet had a confidence problem. My problem was with myself. Ed had faith in me. Above all else he made me be myself.
Ed will be the first to tell you that he is no Adonis. He’s way overweight, graying and slowing down. I love him more now than ever because he is real. He’s honest, truthful, dedicated to me and my career and above all else I trust him. He must have 8 or 9 female friends he keeps in touch with and I trust him explicitly. I know his past and history with each and I don’t worry because I’m his and he is mine. He has never given me any reason to doubt my trust in him. When you are apart as much as we are if you don’t have the trust you have nothing.

I agree...trust is everything in a relationship. As far as confidence problem...I can handle just about anything you throw at me...I really don't get nervous...contrary to what some people think, and will continue to think (against all better judgement).
However...the one thing that gets me...when people jump to conclusions. Case in point...tonight, was hanging out watching a movie with some people...things got awkward...so I bailed...everyone thinks it is some blasted confidence issue, when more to the point, it was me sick of being bored and sounding like an oaf while trying to occupy myself amidst it...if only people would learn to just shut up and mind their own business I swear.

That's the problem with the 18 - 22 crowd. Some are starting to mature and some are regressing into childhood. It's awkward no matter what.
