What is the most scariest movie have you ever seen? I think mine is either Dark Water or The Eye. Though Dark Water was sorta a lot more scary than The Eye.

I am being serious. I don't know if it's those Oompa-Loompas or what, but I just get creeped out by that movie.

Ask WazLady. She's seen me leave the room every time it's on. I swear I am not joking on this. I don't scare easily, but this movie really gets to me.

Ditto - I watched the Shining in Wales on a dark and stormy night whilst my parents were away - I slept with a kitchen knife under the pillow that night!

I saw that movie in the theather when it came out and I have NEVER EVER seen it again nor will I ever want to..

Yes, he is being serious...

And they are making a remake of it with Tim Burton as director and Johnny Depp as Willy Wonka himself...

I find Thrillers generally more scary than Horror Films - most modern Horror films are really lame. The Ring was good as it was not mainstream

Stuff like Scream ect are atrocious

Artcwolf please don't get me started on Blair Witch Project. That was the worst movie in history. I hated it. Curiousing every second, it made me just about fall asleep, and it was the most boring movie in the world. Not scary at all. Not sure how it even made so much money. My generation is a disgrace to human kind. No offense. Though I despise the way my generation and the future generation acts . No offense.

wow.. I wonder what kind of people are offended by such feeble comments. :p

As for the blair witch project. That was a joke. Shoddy camera work (though it was obviously intentional) along with no real scary elements.

Was that rock tapping in the middle of the night supposed to scare me?

Was the odd creek in the basement supposed to make me think that anything more than someone stepping on a old floorboard was happening?

Yah. Blair Witch Project is more of a comedy.

The Shining

The first time I saw this movie, for some reason went back to school a day early from one of the breaks, and was by myself in my dorm room without hardly anyone in the building. It was dark out, and it kind of freaked me out I keept looking over my sholder making sure no one was behind me. I do like the movie though, in fact a while back I rented steven kings version, not realizing it came on 3 dvd's and is almost 6 hours long I think.

The blair witch project

I can see how some people could see it as scary but I thought it was kind of funny. I grew up in the country and love to walk around in the woods. I swear at one point in the movie when the can't find there way out in the background you can see the edge of the woods and there is a corn field. Plus when you are trying to find your way out why would you keep crossing the same creek? creeks are not going to go in circles if you follopw it you will eventually come out of the woods.

Truthfully, I've never been scared by a movie, the only "scary things" are when the sound gets loud and I jump at the sound. No movie has actually phycologically (sp) scared me. At first Signs had me a little weirded, until I figured out all the flaws in it.

I agree with you on being lost in the woods. After I saw that movie I kept asking myself and people who saw the movie, "Why didn't they follow the creek??" Eventually they would get out of there by just following it. Also use the sun as your guide too. Sun rises in the east...sets in the west.

Now people have cell phones and would call someone to get them out...

A movie that scrared me was Grimlins of course I was 6 when I watched, I was at my Parents member ranch thing and it was like almost mid night big windows to the left and right of me and a big theater screen in front of me, the guy decided to put the movie on and man did it tweak me out for like the next two years I would always turn on a light before entering the room and when I finally got over it, a few years later I think I was 13,14 at the time I was sleeping over at my cousins house on the ground in a sleeping bag, and he happened to have purchased one of the grimlins from the movie that was remote control and he had that thing walk up to me and claw my bag when I was a sleep, oh man when I opened my eyes to see that thing over me, clawing at me I almost pissed my pants, I grabbed the nearest object and started to beat the living **** out of it until I realized it wasnt real and by then my cousin was pissed but hell thats what he gets for doing something like to me. Anyhow I finally did watch Grmilns about a year or so back and realized how much comedy there was in that movie. It is so funny now.
Wll thats my story....:Nice

I saw 28 Days Later last night with a few friends on DVD. It wasn't scary since it was a small screen [in comparision to a movie screen.] Also, I was a bit distracted by my friend and his g/f making out, but it was okay. But it was pretty damn good, wasn't too scary (would be alone though...) but it was just a great movie. I'm a movie fan, I like to study movies and this was pretty damn good.

even though i have never been scared of a movie, movies have messed with my mind, but not to the extent that i have been freaked out.

Another movie I saw once and cannot watch again...

This is OT on this thread but since we are talking about movies the other night I asked Wazman if we can watch one of my movies. So I put in "Funny Farm" starring Chevy Chase and within the first half hour Wazman askes me:

"What did I do to you? What horriable thing did I do that you have to torture me into watching this?"

Now mind you...this movie is a comedy...and I liked it!!

So I think that will be the last time in awhile I ask"Wanna watch one of my movies?"

*Seeing Wazman leap off the couch screaming*

(Sorry dear....you didn't do anything):surrender :surrender :surrender :surrender :surrender :surrender :surrender :surrender :surrender

The last creepy movie I saw was "Dreamcatchers", based on a Stephen King novel.

Scary, weird, and funny. Just what you kind of expect from Stephen. The special effects were horrific realistic !

The first movie to freak me out was the original "Poltergiest".

"Silence of The Lambs" was too truth could be stranger than fiction real, and screwed my brain up for a good two weeks or more. Scared to death! Not a good date movie, I'll have to say, since the result was associating the guy with the scary movie each time I saw him. Not a good start :lmao.

"Seven". Yup, another freaky one like "Lambs" above.

"Hellraiser". Have seen all of them. Gory!

The first "Nightmare on Elm Street" was the best :thumb.

Bebop is great because the amount of detail put into it.

Such as Faye. One word.... Boingy!:devil

Anyway..

I didn't see Dreamcatchers. That looked pretty good.

I didn't see Dreamcatchers. That looked pretty good. I saw dream catchers, thought it was an itresting concept, but rather corny, over all, it just wasn't very scary, I laughed through most of the movie, just like all horror movies I watch
