Blue Angels 2004 Show Schedule Announced
The Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron, the Blue Angels, announced yesterday its show schedule for the 2004 show season. Following winter training, the team begins the season at Naval Air Facility El Centro, Calif., March 13, 2003, and concludes the season Nov. 13, 2003, at Naval Air Station Pensacola, Fla. The Blue Angels are scheduled to perform 69 shows at 35 locations throughout the United States and Canada during the 2004 season.
Demonstration sites are selected in support of the objectives of the Department of Defense and in the interest of the armed services with safety as the primary consideration. Performances greatly assist the Navy’s recruiting and retention goals and enhance esprit de corps among uniformed men and women, as well as demonstrate the professional skills and capabilities of the armed forces to the American public. The schedule is as follows:
