View Full Version : System uptime -- how long have you been without reboot
on my home server - running win2k server.
Compaq 1600 dual cpu, raid / all scsi system w/ 2 plextor burners. 2 channel scsi built in (2 channel - one goes to raid card and 1 channel goes to boot disk) and adaptec 2940 for cd's. 198gigs storage and boot. also runs at 100% cpu x 2 100% of this time, running UD.

That's amazing. Pretty stable system!! So how do you get the UD agent to use 100% of your CPU time? Does it do it automatically when the system is not in use?
Oh, and Brian... how about joining our team?

MY comp has been on for 8 days now.....only becaue i've been runnig UD and becasue i have been recently running my own FTP server...my computer is no server, so i expect to see some illegal operations and freeze-ups soon, then i will re-boot, LOL

UD is running twice - once on each cpu - because it is not multithreaded.
you have to install it twice with 2 different names on 2 different partitions and enable each of them to not see the other running more or less.
to bad its not multithreaded..
sorry - already member of a team that i founded a long time ago when ud was in beta.
plus (i think still) ud does not transfer points when switching teams.

I'm sure Win98 is not setup to Log this information based on defualt settings.

install uptime.exe which is a microsoft program - make sure you start the heartbeat if not started aready.

works on win2k and mt4 and i think also me and xp
