The combination of flash and shutterspeed resulted in the fans appearing stopped even though they were running. That's know as stop action photography.

I'm just wondering why we have to lay on our sides to look at it...

when i take a photo of something i'm gonna show everyone, i set a slow shutter speed and change the f-stop (arperature) to a small hole.

results in a ususally much clearer picture, if you use a tripod or put the camera on a table or something.

i have no idea if i can change those settings

tripod always helps

especially nigh shots of a computer

im still working on that though

if you have a good look in the manual for your digital camera you'll probably find something on the manual settings.

bingo.

I was sitting there, wasting my time, prior to reading the thread, trying to figure out what was wrong. I knew the fans not moving was because of the stop action...

...I thought something was really wrong!

yeah..a better depth definitely, but the fans wont be frozen in action, resulting in a blurry circle

I thought the thing that was wrong was that he bought an Abit motherboard after all the people in here that have had problems with it.

But that's just how I am.

Still...

An Abit is just an Abit.

I believe that is an older pic. He decided to format last night. I told him to change a few timings cause it wasn't working in DC before. Works now. =D

Depends on the shutter speed and the flash.

I've frozen my fans in place with a picture. You can't tell that the fans were turning.

Me, too, since he asked me what I thought about the IS7 and I told him I loved it but recommended against it a few weeks ago.

I have a abit mobo and it worked fine for 2 years + ! I love abit motherboards because their built for overclockers, everything you can set in the biox and fast!

yea.......what he said.

to tell u the truth i still have no idea what state the computer was in when i took that pic.

cuz i thought the computer was off and the flash of the camera lit up the LED's enough 2 make them look like they were on. or the stop action thing bejohnson said.
