Yeah it is a waist of money to buy lottery tickets IMO I heard
somewhere that you stood a better chance of getting struck
by lightning 3 or 4 times straight in a row than of winning the
lottery. I remember a few years ago there was a big lottery
and people were selling their cars and taking out loans just
to blow it all on lottery tickets just a plain stupid thing to do:Nope

LoL...make every combination. Spend 2 mil on tickets and get 200 back ;)

Also...your chances of winning the lottery are greater than being in an airplane thats gonna crash...so don't lose all hope yet

The money only gets taxed if u decide to take it all in one big chunk and not payments.

Besides $210 million they take away like $50 youre still $160 million rich.

How much will the government take from winnings in the U.S.?

50%?

Just curious.

The biggest lotteries up here in Canada are Super 7 and 6-49. Never have seen them go past a $30 mill jackpot.

Good luck on your tickets :sun_smile!

No they dont take away 50% , one person won like $120 million awhile back she took the whole chunk and and ended up with $84, they take like 10% of youre winnings.

Can't imagine what to do with all that money.

A new house would be nice.

Help family pay off bills.

You could scoot some of the taxes buy giving a chunk to charities every year :).

Then, live off the interest while the money in the bank makes money for you :beer!

I used to look after group tickets at work when the jackpot would get large. It's a tough racket though.

If you can get the same people each time in the group it's ok, but it gets harder when you win free tickets, and you end up with three or more group pools going because no one wants to be left out :(.

Can u imagine the situation if one group's tickets won, and the other's didn't !? Not gonna look after group tickets anymore, too much legal stuff that could happen, all from just trying to be nice and look after a pool of tickets!
