So...I orded a LiteOn CD-RW 52x32x52 @ newegg just a few days ago.
Yesterday I went to check the shipping status and it said it would arrive Jan 02 (me= unhappy).
Anyways...
Today, when I went to wash my dad's truck the FedEx truck came to drop-off the package and I wasn't at home bummer.
My mom thought it wasn't wise to drive out to some industrial area @ 7pm New year's ever to pick up the package from FedEx, so I (as a model U.S. citizen) fill out this signature release form to hang on my door Jan02 so they would drop the package.
Well...waiting for the midnight year change and all...got nothing to do and *poof* mom shows up in my room with this newegg.com package.
WHOA?!?
Well...the woman who had to deliver the package realized it was new years eve and that this might be a present (it wasn't, but it sure was from her) and she decided to take another drive to try and deliver the package again!!!
That is the nicest thing EVER...someone who could go home after finishing the driving just wanting to deliver a present. NICE!!!
I am gonna cry...lol :Crying
And I didn't even get a chance to thank her personally...
I just have to find out who she is and thank her...I mean I didn't know such people even existed!!! :thumb
Did any of you other guys have any similar stories?
