I agree with the forum being slow...

I've been on other forums that are lightning fast! I can jump from threads to threads or section to section in less than a second!

probably because it would be 1 more thing to moderate and consume time that Rodney doesn't have.

Yeah. It would constantly have to be watched by someone. A send thread to moderator wouldn't exactly work... Unless you PrintScreen... But then, why the heck woudl you waste your time like that, if you think the forum is too slow?

What - like an IRC thing?

We've answered that question several times - Rodney doesn't want to do one because he doesn't want it to take away from the forum. If somebody wants to start soemthing on their own, he doesn't mind, but it will not be an official 3GM room or be sponsored or anything like that.

To answer your question:
There currently isn’t a chatroom because there is no way to monitor it's content. I certainly can't be on it 24/7 monitoring everything that’s said, making sure everything is moral, legal, etc… So no, I really can't see an OFFICIAL 3dGameMan.com chatroom ever happening, or at least one that’s online 24/7. If there is one currently it's not official and it isn’t in anyway affiliated with 3dGameMan.com.
