Looking to buy new Digital SLR

I'm planning on buying a new Digital SLR. This camera will be used for landscape pictures. Any recommendations on what I should be looking for?

Do you currently have a digital or 35mm SLR? Any lenses?

I'm looking along the lines of a Canon D60 and no...I do not have any lenses, as of yet.

The thing to remember about DSLRs is that when you buy a camera body, think of it as just a recorder for what your lens sees.

The purpose of a DSLR is defined 99% of the time by what lens you choose to attach it onto. Put it on a 12mm lense, you've got yourself an excellent landscape capable-camera. Put a 1200mm lens on the same SLR body and you have a camera that can seemingly see halfway around the world.
