Eminem sues Apple over song (http://www.rte.ie/arts/2004/0225/eminem.html)
Rapper Eminem has filed a copyright infringement lawsuit against the Apple computer company for using one of his songs without his permission.
He claims that 'Lose Yourself', the theme song from his 2002 film '8 Mile', has been used in an advertisement for Apple's iTunes pay-per-download music store.
'Lose Yourself' has won several awards, including a Best Original Song Oscar in 2003.
Eight Mile Style, the music publisher of the rap artist whose real name is Marshall Mathers III, filed the copyright infringement in Detroit federal court last Friday. iTunes, hmmm... :rofl2
