Here is a photo that Kim took with a Canon IXUS 300 camera using the camera flash and my Canon Speedlite 550 as a slave flash. The subject and camera owner is Kathrine McCart which is a 2nd cousin of Brandi's Mom more or less. Not bad for a small 2.1 megapixel camera.

Not a bad pic. Pretty girl. For a 2.1 though that looks like it has a lot of noise/pixels in it. Was it set at a lower quality for that shot or is that typical for that cam?

That's artifacts from the croping and resizing. I did not have the original 1600 x 1200 to work with.

There's also a ton of JPEG compression artifacting. I'd like to see an original, or at least a less modified version.

Unfortunately since this was a casual throw away shot that Kim did to show Kathrine that the lighting was much more important than the pixel count, I do not have the full version. I doubt if Kim does either as she downloaded it to her laptop to crop it and just e-mailed it to me after she had demonstrated to Kathrine what you could do with Photoshop. I'll ask but I imagine it's gone.
