I just saw the first 10 mins of Dawn of the Dead and I can't wait till Friday! This movie looks like it will be very enjoyable! I love how its not a slow movie and takes forever.

I might check this one out. WazLady hates scary movies, though, so I might have to wait till it's out on video. But it looks pretty cool from what I've seen of it.

The trailer to it looks really cool. Anyone know if the murderdolls dawn of the dead song is the theme of it?

ch0 really wants to see it but I'll be staying home that night. I've never really liked scary movies, I'm a whimp.

It's a good excuse to snuggle - pretend that you're scared and cuddle up real tight. Gives the guy a chance to feel like the great protector too. :)

yah, but I'm far to whimpy to endure that in the first place. No matter how good of a cuddler he is.

Hmmm.....just saw trailer. Has that 28 Days Later/Resident Evil vibe to it. Doesn't look that scary....Last major scare for me was The Ring:jawsdown

I didn't find The Ring scary at all... Kind of dull, actually.

Damn You made me remember the Ring!, now it will take 2-3 months before I forget it again!

I agree. Though the ending may have been a little scary but not that good.
Though the first 10 mins of Dawn of the Dead had me jumping all over the place! I am happy it scared me so much. Espically like with the music and the zombines. It seems like a enjoyable but good movie to jump at because you get scared sorta because the loud music comes out of nowhere. Then the zombines! They are pretty cool. Seeing the first 10 mins from the usa network channel leaves me wanting to see the rest because it seems like it will be a pretty good movie if not at least ok. I love that the zombines run! To me it makes it more scary! Plus I love the camera movements!

Hehe, The Ring was one hell of a rollercoaster ride! All those disturbing scenes and shock moments are engraved in my memory:Crying But I love horror movies so I will definitely watch Dawn of the Dead.

Neat! We were discussing the trailer to Dawn of the Dead at work today. One of the young ladies I work with will be going to see it with her boyfriend :).
Scary is fun, for sure! The first couple of Poltergeist movies were amazing, and I think the first was the scariest. The tv scenes in The Ring and Poltergiest 1 were petrifying!
There's something about seeing something crawl out of, or be hauled out of, or hauled into a tv set that is just un-nerving :shocking. All the goo and slimy stuff too. Icky!
S'cuse me while I go check the back of me tv set...I'm freaked out now just thinking about it :lmao.

I saw the original and return of the dead

True classics they may be...

these type of movies insult my intelligence
:thumb Seen the trailer and it looks like a good flick:thumb

Ok...The Ring...IMHO, sucked as a horror movie. In fact, the only movie that has genuinely ever scared me, was the original Poltergeist.....saw that when I was like 5-6....holy crap....I was screwed up for life.

if your over 12 and still jump from a scene of a scary movie than it aint normal, 10 out of 10 "scary" movie out today is not scary AT ALL. well, maybe for some 11 years old and below. :devil

A really "good" scary movie would be a movie that depicts real everyday life so good that it scares you, seriously, instead of making new gigs and story for scary movies that just cant possibly happen in real life, i'm gonna wait till some genius make a scary movie that is so real and related to everyone that some will whisper:
"this is weird, i think that happened to me before and i dont even know it until know, wait a minute....oh my god, this cant be real" and a friend reply: "Dude, this is really freaky, the same thing happened ....." and a dude from behind your seat interrupted with: " guyz, i think we better leave know, this is gettin too real for a scary movie".
One dejavu too many, as if the director ripped the scariest part of your life and put in on screen.
:shocking

I like when a scary movie can scare me but its very rare :(
Sorry to bring up the dead :D :D
Just saw it - thought it was excellent. Loved the original but this one stands up well on its own.
I loved the fast Zombies!
Love the credit scene
