A cool garage sale find.

WazLady and I went out to a few garage sales this morning, and found some cool stuff. This is one of the coolest items we got - an actual gumball machine.

I have no idea if it works, but I had to have it. So I snapped it up and snapped a pic.

I just think it's cool.

I still have a vintage gumball machine at home, only thing is, it used to be filled with M&M's, and when I was little, I accidentally pulled it off the table it was on, and the glass broke, so right now it is out of commission even still until I can find replacement glass for it.

Today was a busy day...garage sales...took our little one to a carnival here in town. Road the Sizzler ride....and all I can say is I cannot stomach them like I used too.

But all in all had a good time:banana

And WazLady bought me a little toy Jeep car (one of those where you pull it back and let it go and it goes by itself). Needless to say, I am thrilled.

That's one of Brandi's and my favorite rides. We can go for hours it seems.

We love to hit the county fairs here in Georgia and Iowa. Such a great way to spend a day outside having fun and being a kid.

I do too. Probably my fav is the Octopus. Didn't have one there today or I would have taken Alexzandra on it. It was a fun afternoon..perfect weather here today for it.

The Tilt-A-Whirl is a another favorite! My best buddy Kelly told me that a friend of her's who is a Tilt A Whirl freak....figured out if you put the heaviest person in the center...you spin more.....

And they tested various other positions also....but if you have the heavier people on the ends...it doesn't spin as much.....

Yeah, I love the Scrambler...once rode it for an hour and a half straight...would have longer, but that's when lines started to form, so the guy made me leave finally.

As for the gumball machine...you can put M&M's, sometimes jelly beans, whatever small quality candy you can find.
